Summary:
The Director of Food and Beverage has the complete oversight of the food and beverage operations in all business units to include One Bistro restaurant, Zachariah's restaurant, purchasing and receiving, conference dining, break service, banquets, and culinary operations.
He/ She needs to maintain and develop operating budget and standard operating procedures in all food and beverage areas.
He /She is responsible for managing labor costs, food costs and monitor revenues vs.
costs to achieve maximum profitability.
He/ She needs to ensure proper month end inventories are completed.
In addition, he/she influences the consistent quality of the physical environment, the restaurant branding and image, customers perceived value and satisfaction and delivering consistent guest experience.
Lastly, work closely will all departments for overall success of the hotel and conference center operations.
The Director of Food & Beverage directly manages the Executive Chef, Banquet Manager, Restaurant Manager, Purchasing Manager and Conference Services Manager.
The position is expected to work nights and weekend based upon business needs.
Schedule and Location:
This position is based on-site, full-time, in Norwood, MA and may require night and weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
To perform and support day to day food and beverage operations and procedure.
To perform on-going administrative duties that may include, scheduling, payroll, financial management duties etc.
To perform weekly MOD shifts Monitoring and implementing Marriott brand standards within each area To monitor, resolve and communicate food and beverage related surveys, comments, and concerns
Qualifications:
4 year degree/bachelors Hospitality or Food Service Management 3
years of related work experience required 5
years of related work experience highly preferred Required Skills:
Supervisory/leadership skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong customer service skills Ability to address and resolve guests complaints effectively and efficiently Strong financial management skills Strong knowledge of food and beverage POS system Strong menu development skills The salary range for this position is $97,500-$140,100 USD.
The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
