Property/Portfolio Manager Norwood based property management firm is looking for an experienced full time portfolio manager to handle a number of commercial and residential condominium properties throughout the Greater Boston Area.
This position requires a minimum of two days in the field, two or three days in the office and potentially could work remotely one day a week.
You will work directly with the President of the company and there is a potential for an ownership interest in the future.
Position Purpose Responsible for obtaining and maintaining management accounts.
Nature and Scope Determine goals and objectives of owners/clients Responsible for proper maintenance for ongoing operations as well as preventative maintenance within the guidelines set forth by the clients.
Responsible for contract bidding and vendor follow through.
The property manager must be aware of changing costs for goods and services in the marketplace.
Responsible for regular ongoing property inspections.
Responsible to attend meetings, as necessary, Responsible for the management of all field personnel associated with the property.
Prepare annual budgets for managed properties.
Responsible for backing up any other property managers who are not available in the event a problem occurs at another property.
Must be available to respond to afterhours emergencies.
Marketing The Property Manager should always be marketing the services of the Company.
More specifically, the property manager should solicit new management accounts on a scheduled basis, perhaps a few hours a week.
The solicitation would consist of researching potential projects, written communication (i.
e.
, brochures, letters, etc.
), follow-up phone calls, and personal meetings with the prospective account principals.
Must have 5 years' experience as a property manager and an associates/bachelor's degree would be a plus.
