Here follows a description of this role:
Responsibilities and essential functions include, but are not limited to training, development of new hires, estimate development and sales.
Also to oversee the prioritization, direction and supervision of the daily activities of all field technicians, warehouse, and any hired Installers or Construction Trades.
The Sales/Service Manager assists with the development of training programs and pro-actively facilitates/conducts company training to assure prompt and accurate customer service and excellent employee relations.
Sales/Service Manager have P&L (Profit and Loss) responsibility.
The Service Manager aggressively monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and takes timely corrective action to ensure goals and objectives are met.
The Service Manager must ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, Local and State regulatory requirements.
General qualifications include:
Manage daily operations of Service Department promptly and professionaly to address any calls, leads and requests from our customers within 24 hours Provide technical support and estimate support to Field Service Technicians to create positive feedback and hands on training Provide parts assistance and oversee inspection of service Presentation of a professional image by keeping scheduled appointments, wearing appropriate attire, staying neat, clean and well groomed.
Assist with project management of projects and installations Thorough knowledge of all applicable Local and State regulatory requirements, especially those related to safety.
A common sense approach to assessing potential hazards to persons and property and exemplary conduct in reducing risks.
Possession of a clean driving record and valid Driver's License Ability to communicate clearly and personably with Client's, co-workers and other related associates.
Ability and willingness to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct with Clients and Company.
Ability to monitor paperwork and associated administrative tasks in a timely manner and expedite corrective action as required.
Exemplary ability to respect and protect Clients' home and property.
Initiative and organized effort to monitor inventory and oversee the care of vehicle and facility appearances and mechanicals.
Specific qualifications may include:

years in a Sales/Service Manager role preferred Willingness to continue training for personal growth and willingness and ability to supervise and train others.
Strong technical industry knowledge and excellent problem solving skills Proficiency in meeting Key Performance Indicators including, but not limited to, Sales Closed Ratio, Average Sale, Lead Opportunities, Pipeline Deals Activity Thorough knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Company Vision and Mission statement and the ability and desire to achieve them.
Salary Range and Status Salaries are commensurate with experience, seniority and qualifications.
Positions are full time, benefited, salaried.
Bonuses may be paid based on meeting specific predetermined objectives or achievement of outstanding performance.
Working Conditions A 40
hour week is typical.
Position may require additional hours during unusual or unforeseen circumstances.
