Summary:
The Field Merchandiser is responsible for merchandise presentation within a home store location as well as other stores in a general market, as directed.
This position will also assist with merchandise set up in a new or remodeled store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Assemble all store fixtures and signage properly within OSJL retail locations in compliance with company standards Receive and arrange merchandise shipments from the Distribution Center (DC) Implement merchandise plans that provide ample space and adjacency for every merchandise category Complete daily assigned merchandising tasks in a timely manner Uphold safety and maintenance standards in compliance with Company policies and procedures Implement all planograms, plan-o-guides, and visuals as assigned Participate in the operation and merchandising of the entire store Carry out duties in a manner to protect company assets from damage Perform various merchandising duties including, but not limited to, operating a ticket gun, cutting cases, lifting merchandise and/or fixtures, hanging signage, and displaying merchandise Operate a cash register as needed Travel to stores generally within assigned region to perform necessary merchandising EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Prior merchandising planning and presentation experience in other retail environments required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred Prior retail management experience in operations and merchandising preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platform (i.
