We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant for our nonprofit incubator.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of the nonprofit incubator and the wider team.
After a successful onboarding process, this position will be a hybrid role with office presence required for 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars Provide support for meetings and events, including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking minutes Assist with the management of the nonprofit incubator's database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing mail Assist with financial record-keeping, including processing invoices, receipts, and reimbursements Support the Director in maintaining positive relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders Conduct research and analysis on topics related to nonprofit management and incubation
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in an administrative support role Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Google Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team Interest in nonprofit management and social impact Experience working in a nonprofit or startup environment is a plus Experience with Asana, Slack, Quickbooks, Squarespace, and Hubspot is a plus but not required
