Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops have an immediate need for a full-time Experienced Machinists and Facility Manager.
This position is located at our Norwood Factory/Showroom and requires some travel to our Natick, Wakefield, and Watertown MA locations.
The role of the maintenance mechanic at Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is to ensure a safe, clean and orderly building environment while maintaining a high level of equipment uptime.
Responsibilities Include Routine mechanical repairs; ensuring the machinery functions properly according to manufacturer recommendation.
Oversite and execution of existing Preventative Maintenance program.
Mechanical & Electrical repairs On site trouble shooting with remote engineers Preferences And Requirements Mechanical repair experience in a production environment.
Experience installing, repairing, or troubleshooting PLCs (Programmable Logic Computers) preferred Understanding of both the metric and standard system Understanding, knowledge, and experience with production machinery Must be able to perform routine maintenance Ability to read manuals, electrical diagrams, drawings Ability to service and perform maintenance on machinery to a high standard PC literate Experience with CNC machinery Willingness to learn Industry Specific Training will be available.
Qualifications Valid MA driver's license Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks Good communication skills, the Spanish language is a plus Highly motivated self-starter Willingness to learn new processes and equipment Mechanical/electrical background is a plus Knowledge of Electrical (AC/DC), pneumatic schematics and components is a plus This Job Is:
