Manufacturing Process Engineer
Manufacturing Process Engineer Salary range $75k-$90/Year DOE Job Description Looking for a self-motivated Process Engineer for its Norwood, MA facility.
Successful candidates will Serve as the technical lead in New Product Introduction (NPI) and perform process support and improvement for established assembly processes of legacy products.
Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate between Operations, Program Management, and all other departments, in a dynamic environment.
Due to ITAR Restrictions, US Citizenship or green card is required.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Strong Process Development skills and experience required; experience with setting up and troubleshooting all standard printed circuit board assembly processes:
Screen-Printer set-up, Placement Programming, AOI Programming, Reflow Oven Profile, Wave Solder Recipes, etc.
o Experience with CAM software such as UNI CAM or AEGIS a big plus.
o Working knowledge of ISO 9001 AS9100 practices and IPC-610-A Workmanship Standards required Support the production schedule to meet customer satisfaction and company revenue goals.
o Constantly monitor processes and operations and draw from training and experience to identify opportunities for improvement Support generation and reporting of process metrics Required Experience, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum of five years of experience in printed circuit board assembly is required.
o Minimum of five years of experience in printed circuit board assembly is required.
o A BS Degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience is required.
o Strong Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Background preferredo Flexibility and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
o Ability to multi-task with strong sense of urgency.
o Ability to meet deadlines and to work with a minimum of oversight and directiono Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
)o Willingness to perform all other duties, as assigned by management.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
