Part-time Dental AssistantAre you great with Children?Norwood Pediatric Dentistry, a Pediatric Dental Office is seeing a dental assistant.
A Dental Assistant would be responsible for assisting the dentist in many aspects of direct patient care and performing other clinical and clerical functions independently while under direct supervision:
Chair-side Assisting; set up operatory for planned dental procedures and cleans dental unit for timely turnover, passes instruments safely, prepares dental medicament and impression materials, and assists in routine and specialized dental procedures.
Customer Service; showing courtesy and respect for patients, co-workers, and the public.
Infection Control and Equipment Sterilization; demonstrates proper infection control procedures in setting up and cleaning operatories, and properly prepares instruments.
Clerical Function; assists dentist in charting findings and treatment plans in patient records.
Qualifications:
Must have a current Basic Life Support certificationMust be a team player Come join our jungle-themed dental office and embrace a rewarding career!While experience is always preferred we are open to on-the-job training.
