Seeking a highly motivated Finance professional who will play a key role in contributing to the growth of the company.
Essential Functions:
1.
Oversee a team of 1-3 direct reports including Staff Accountants.
2.
Responsible for running the month-end close process, which includes ensuring journal entries and account analysis are prepared timely and accurately.
Execute inventory analysis and reconciliations, while partnering with the manufacturing team on standard costing and physical inventories.
Complete fixed asset analysis and reconciliations including inventory transfers to fixed assets.
Ensure capital spending is in accordance with accounting guidelines and planned spending levels.
3.
Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
Oversee and validate the proper recognition of revenue across all business units and product lines.
4.
Participate and/or lead technical accounting matters.
Assist with the interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards.
5.
Develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure an effective internal control environment.
6.
Active participation in the annual audit, partner with external resources to prepare audit schedules and analysis.
7.
Assist with the company's financial reporting process.
8.
Support the preparation of US tax returns and provision.
9.
Provide backup support and guidance to all AP and AR functions.
10.
Perform system implementations as requested by management.
Experience Requirements:
1.
5 - 8 years of relevant experience in accounting.
2.
Preferences for Big 4, public accounting, CPA, Cost Accounting experience, Epicor and/or other systems/reportingfamiliarity.
Experience with Concur, Avalara, Sustainability systems a plus.
3.
Detail-oriented with significant emphasis on accuracy and adherence to procedure and controls.
4.
Advanced excel skills in data aggregation desirable.
Education Requirements:
1.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
2.
CPA license preferred.
3.
MSA or MBA degree preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
1.
Hybrid office environment (2-3 days per week onsite).
