Reporting directly to the Director of Worldwide Sales Learning and Enablement, this position will be primarily responsible for driving key strategies in the areas of Sales Enablement, including Content Development and Delivery, Learning Effectiveness, Strategic Planning for required sales collateral and implementing processes and systems that enable the field Worldwide with collateral and tools for both technical and non-technical sellers. In addition this role must understand and incorporate evolving business needs from key stakeholders such as the BUs, Core Marketing and Channel Marketing, along with the senior management and senior sales executives within the field or channel. This role is instrumental in increasing the capability of our internal and channel sales force by focusing on processes, tools and systems that enable the field to provide customers with insight on market direction, technology, innovation and products.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, project management, strategic thinking and interpersonal/communication skills and have a proven track record managing and influencing executive stakeholders dispersed globally. The candidate will be a high-integrity and self-confident leader who has the ability to work collaboratively, influence direction to internal and external decision makers, and drive/implement change.
Examples of duties include:
Define strategy for sales enablement needs in the field or channel
Evaluate current practices vs best in class and create plans to improve ADI capabilities
Work closely with content providers from various functions across ADI to ensure information needed by the field is provided in a way that makes it easy for them to find and utilize
Able to evaluate sales training needs/gaps, develop recommendations and implement solutions,
Develop materials and content related to topics such as strategic selling, product knowledge, pricing, new hire orientation, onboarding, sales systems, technical sales training, including distribution and marketing related content development
Facilitate/Coordinate on-site training and web based training
Collaborate on the development and implementation of online training tools which include the Sales Learning Center and Sales Portal, Sales Enablement Platforms, social networks, chatter, SFDC, along with other critical tools and systems.
Develop, implement and administer training and sales enablement metrics which capture the value and impact
Drive, manage participate in vendor selection processes
Develop and manage sales training and enablement processes
Develop and manage web based e-learning initiatives and implement tools that support learning remotely for the field globally
Manage sales learning management system
Qualifications:
Experience in selling, applications and technical competence in semiconductors including designing and building internal sales programs, processes and enablement tools and platforms.
Strong Leader, able to think strategically and implement strategies is critical
Instructional Design and Content Development expertise in sales learning and development methodologies and programs or in sales enablement tools, collateral and processes
Selling experience a plus
Strong Project Management skills a must
Demonstrated experience creating and delivering complex projects.
Demonstrated experience driving implementation of cross functionally driven initiatives
Vendor selection and evaluation
Influencing skills
Relationship management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BS/BA degree required, Masters degree preferred
A minimum of 10 years experience in the development and delivery of sales training content
Expertise in content development and delivery
Ability to travel as needed both domestically and globally
