Description:
Analog Devices is seeking an ambitious and resourceful Business Applications Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is an opportunity to partner with process owners to discover needs and lead system solutions which directly impact the strategic direction of ADI business teams. The immediate focus will be on the New Product Productivity business processes and applications with the key role of liaison between corporate and product line business teams and IT development and infrastructure teams. This position is full time and permanent.
Strategic responsibilities include:
Perform research and self-learning on application technologies and tools with the objective of staying informed of cutting edge tools within the application space. Think and solution using innovative approaches.
Build consensus and common practices among teams using persuasion, teamwork, and cooperation. Strong interpersonal skills required.
Challenge both business and IT to come up with the business process solutions that can meet business needs effectively and efficiently and satisfy IT best practices and methodologies.
Evaluate potential solutions and provide recommendations for advancing solution forward.
Tactical responsibilities include:
Facilitate, direct and document business requirements for work to be done (either for projects or support/work requests). It is extremely important that this role effectively documents and communicates the needs of the business. This role is viewed as a key the liaison between the business and IT to ensure both parties are on the same level of understanding.
Provide applications and technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing solutions that meet business requirements.
Translate business requirements into system requirements, create functional documents, test and implement solutions.
Lead user adoption of solutions requiring various user training approaches, effective communication tactics and coordination of user testing.
Provide analytical support in the development and implementation of work items/projects.
Provide analytical support in post implementation of work items/projects.
Support transfer of knowledge to support team of implemented work items/projects.
Specific Skill Set:
Strong customer interaction skills and ability to effectively discover needs and translate into documented requirement documentation.
Ability to identify and build relationships with key decision-makers, having a high degree of contact with other employees, internal business partners and vendors.
Demonstrated success at leading cross functional global teams to meet objectives.
Strong sense of change control methodology.
A very good understanding of current technology options and trends. Knowledge of the Microsoft product suite as it evolves, as well as trends in other areas such as Open Source, Cloud computing, Mobility, etc.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role you will need the following:
Working experience with SharePoint Server 2010/2013 tool set; strong knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint platform, architecture and content management concepts.
A proven track record to challenge the status quo with the willingness to explore non- traditional solutions.
SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, Knowledge of SQL language, stored procedures and website configuration through IIS, and database design concepts.
Ability to manage a high volume of work, multiple tasks and meet projected deadlines within a high performing team environment.
Skills required to perform the duties are: excellent problem solving, communication (verbal and written), research gathering, monitoring, testing and debugging.
Desire to work on a collaborative and fast-paced team.
Education Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
