Operations Analyst

The purpose of this role is to drive operational excellence through the use of process improvement tools and methodology. The Process Improvement Analyst will perform the full scope of their duties with limited direction reporting to the Quality & Process Excellence Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Lead various special projects and initiatives relating to quality and continuous improvement.
Participate in business process reviews and perform business process quantitative analysis. Work with Operations teams to understand current processes and identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
Identify special projects and initiatives relating to quality, continuous improvement, and related activities. Gather data required to perform detailed process analysis and estimate potential efficiency gains which can be realized through process improvements.
Works with business leaders and project teams to develop business cases and comprehensive project plans to identify, quantify, and deliver process improvement efforts in support of strategic business objectives.
Influence decisions based on analysis
Establish and standardize data and analytic practices
Drive improved quality, efficiency, and consistency through implementation of advanced visual analytic tools
Maintain and improve data accessibility and utilization through the build of data libraries and reporting best practice which can be leveraged across Operations.
Lead large process improvement projects.
Identify opportunities to streamline, re-engineer, or eliminate processes in order to achieve greater quality, efficiency, and alignment.
Provide oversight of the Process Improvement Management system that enables transparency into the improvement pipeline and helps the organization gauge and/or demonstrate improvement program performance.
Acts as a source of training and guidance for less experienced analyst
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or information systems
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work activities concurrently
Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
Ability to work independently and on virtual teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills with various levels of leadership and colleagues within the organization
Advanced PC skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Access, and Project
Advanced data analysis skills with ability to create reports in multiple formats
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and project management methodologies
Must have the ability to analyze or operate moderately complex processes and systems
Ability to motivate others, use good teamwork skills, including development of interdepartmental relationships and the ability to make complex decisions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
