Summary:
Operates the MRI scanner and related equipment.
This position works Tuesday thru Friday, 2:
30pm - 7:
30pm.
Responsibilities:
Provides optimum scan techniques for detailed images. Greets patients in a warm and friendly manner and reviews physician's orders. Explains purpose and sequence of procedures to patients. Assists patients in preparation for exams. Monitors patients and adheres to safety and infection control policies. Monitors equipment performance and operation. Responds to emergencies.Willingness to flex hours/days as business needs change or require. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to ensure the dignity and confidentiality of patients at all times.Experience with Philips and G.E. equipment preferred.
Qualifications:
Must have ARRT Registry and Massachusetts RT license.Previous experience is required.
